«Spokes» is the album by electronic music duo Plaid, released in 2003 on Warp Records, on CD.
The album condenses Plaid's IDM: intricate melodies, complex electronic rhythms and a very careful sonic construction. The listening flows between ambient passages and sections with a more marked pulse, creating enveloping soundscapes characteristic of Warp's electronic output.
The label reference is WARPCD114; the CD, in a Digipak case, has an approximate duration of 58 minutes and consists of a single disc. Originally released in the UK.
For listeners of IDM, techno and ambient, and for those seeking experimental electronic music within the Warp Records catalog.
