«Stand Up» is the album by Jethro Tull released on CD.
Stand Up combines electric guitars with folk rock and blues textures, and points to the progressive rock sound for which the band would become known. Among its tracks, «Bourée» and «A New Day Yesterday» stand out as two good examples of the contrast between intensity and delicacy that runs through the album.
Stand Up is the second studio album by Jethro Tull, originally released in 1969. This CD edition is digitally remastered and includes bonus tracks.
Of interest to Jethro Tull fans and enthusiasts of progressive rock, folk rock, and blues rock.
