«Star Turtle» is the album by Harry Connick Jr., released in 1996 by Sony Legacy on CD.
The record presents a light story in which an alien turtle arrives in New Orleans and goes out on the town with the musician, a pretext to show his side as a balladeer, funky, jazz and rock performer. Standout tracks include «Hear Me in the Harmony», «Nobody Like You to Me» and «Never Young». The result is a relaxed stroll through nineties pop.
It is an enhanced single-disc CD, with a total running time of 76 minutes and catalogue number CK 67575.
For listeners of contemporary jazz and pop looking for an eclectic, relaxed album set in New Orleans.
