«String Quartets 13 & 14» is the string quartet album by Franz Schubert performed by the Melos Quartett, released in 2001 by Musique d'abord on CD.
The CD brings together two Schubert string quartets: No. 13 in A minor D. 804 and No. 14 in D minor D. 810, known as «Der Tod und das Mädchen» («Death and the Maiden»). The Melos Quartett's version contrasts the lyrical serenity of the former with the dramatic tension of the latter.
