«Tabula Rasa» is the sixth studio album by the German industrial music band Einstürzende Neubauten, released in 1993 by Mute Records on CD.
«Tabula Rasa» marks Einstürzende Neubauten's turn towards a more melodic and atmospheric sound, without abandoning their experimentation with constructed instruments and found objects. Tabula Rasa combines passages of poetic calm with rhythmic outbursts and includes pieces such as «Die Interimsliebenden», «Blume» —featuring the voice of Anita Lane— and «Headcleaner».
The Digipak edition, with catalogue code Beton 106 CD, includes seven tracks; it was released in Germany and France in 1993.
For listeners of industrial and experimental music from the nineties, interested in the German avant-garde scene.
