«Tenderly» is the album by guitarist and singer George Benson, released on CD in 1989.
George Benson revisits a handful of classics and adds new tracks, with the guitar as the guiding thread and the voice as another instrument. The sound moves between jazz, pop and R&B, with restrained arrangements that leave room for the artist's phrasing.
It is a single-disc edition, released on July 3, 1989, with the songs in English.
Aimed at listeners of fusion jazz, smooth jazz and contemporary R&B, with special interest for admirers of Benson's guitar.
