«The Great Choral Works: Mozart Requiem, Verdi Requiem» is the remastered compilation by various artists, released in 1991 by Vivace on CD.
The disc brings together two choral works from the classical repertoire: Mozart's Requiem and Verdi's Requiem. Written for soloists, choir and orchestra, both share the liturgical requiem text, though with very different character: serenity and introspection in Mozart, dramatic force in Verdi.
For classical music and choral repertoire enthusiasts, especially those interested in the great sacred works.
