«The Infancia Project» is the jazz album by Venezuelan pianist Luis Perdomo, released in 2012 by Criss Cross Jazz, on CD.
The Venezuelan pianist revisits the South American and Afro-Caribbean rhythms of his childhood in original compositions such as «The Other Left» and «Berimvela» and in versions like «Solar» by Miles Davis. He is joined by Mark Shim on tenor saxophone, Andy González on bass, Ignacio Berroa on drums and Mauricio Herrera on percussion.
Recorded in January 2012 at Systems Two Recording Studios in Brooklyn (New York) and released under the catalog number CRISS 1348, it includes nine tracks.
