«The Most Beautiful Girl In The World» is the CD single by The Artist (Formerly Known As Prince), released in 1994 on NPG Records.
The title track is a romantic ballad in which Prince wonders if his beloved could be the most beautiful girl in the world, with lyrics insisting that true beauty lies within. The CD is completed by «Beautiful», a second track that reinforces that message, and both songs sum up his blend of soul, funk and dance-pop.
The CD brings together two tracks: the main song, at 4:07, and «Beautiful», at 3:57. The cover credits attribute production, arrangements, composition and performance to Prince.
For fans of Prince and of the 1990s fusion of soul, funk and dance-pop, especially in CD single format.
