«The Next Room» is the album by the American metal band Mordred, released in 1994 by Noise on CD.
The album relies on the fusion of thrash metal and funk that distinguishes Mordred, with a production that combines the genre's aggression with rhythmic and dynamic passages. The result is a representative work of mid-1990s American alternative metal, far from more orthodox thrash.
The recording is in English. The cover is a photograph of a couple dancing on an urban street, with the name Mordred in red.
For those interested in 90s alternative metal and the scene that fused thrash and funk.
