«The Piper at the Gates of Dawn» is the psychedelic rock debut album by Pink Floyd, reissued as a remastered CD in 1994 by EMI.
The album blends psychedelic rock, pop and experimental passages, with songs that evoke childhood, fantasy and science fiction. It is the work where Syd Barrett's creativity is dominant within Pink Floyd's catalogue, and it already hints at the sonic textures the band would later develop.
Edition with a single disc and 41 minutes in length; the work was originally released in 1967.
For Pink Floyd and psychedelic rock fans who wish to discover the band's origins.
