«The Rough Guide to the Music of the Andes» is a various artists compilation released in 1996 by World Music Network, on CD.
A journey through traditional Andean music bringing together performers from Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru, with styles such as Nueva Canción and música criolla and instruments like the quena, charango and zampoña. It includes, among others, «El Hacha» by Inti-Illimani, «Te Recuerdo Amanda» by Víctor Jara and «Puedo Vivir Sin Tu Amor» by Los Kjarkas.
