The Shape of Punk to Come

Synopsis of The Shape of Punk to Come

«The Shape of Punk to Come» is the third studio album by Refused, released in 1998 by Burning Heart on CD.

The album breaks with conventional hardcore and combines the genre's aggression with jazz, electronics and experimental structures. Its lyrics, with marked political and philosophical content, are supported by sophisticated production. The track 'New Noise' exemplifies this mix and has become a reference point for the record.

Originally released on October 27, 1998, this CD is a 2012 reissue with catalog number 7212-2; the lyrics are in English.

For hardcore punk and post-hardcore fans interested in a genre reference title.
