«The Tuesdays» is the self-titled pop rock album by Norwegian band The Tuesdays, released in 1998 on CD.
Self-titled album by the Norwegian female group combining pop rock, power pop and soft rock with vocal harmonies. Includes the single «It's Up to You», along with tracks such as «Too Late to Be Good» and «Tuesday Afternoon». Produced by Ole Evenrude, with mixes by Tom Lord-Alge, it shows a sound close to that of The Bangles.
The group formed in Larvik in 1990 and, after adding Laila Samuelsen as vocalist, changed its name from The Tuesday Girls to The Tuesdays. The lineup disbanded shortly after this album.
Suitable for fans of nineties pop rock and bands like The Bangles, with a particular interest in female vocal harmonies.
