«Time Remembered: John McLaughlin plays Bill Evans» is the album by John McLaughlin, released in 1993 by Verve, on CD.
John McLaughlin reinterprets compositions associated with pianist Bill Evans in a jazz vein. The album is a restrained tribute, built from the delicacy of the acoustic guitar, far from the energy McLaughlin showed in the Mahavishnu Orchestra. A leisurely listen that underscores his most lyrical side.
CD edition with a single disc. Catalog number: 314 519 861-2.
For jazz fans who want to hear John McLaughlin in a relaxed register, away from the energy of the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
