«Tindersticks» is the debut album by Tindersticks, released by Island Records as a remastered double CD.
The album blends chamber pop and alternative rock. Stuart A. Staples' deep voice and the orchestral arrangements create a dark, romantic atmosphere with echoes of lounge jazz. It includes «City Sickness», «Patchwork» and «Marbles».
The original album, released in 1993, is presented here remastered with a second disc of demos. The songs are in English.
For listeners of British alternative rock from the nineties and of chamber pop.
