«Tourist» is the album by St Germain, released in 2001 by EMI, as a double CD (limited edition).
A fusion of house, jazz and electronic music with hypnotic rhythms, horns and samples, in an urban atmosphere evoking the Paris of St-Germain-des-Prés. It alternates danceable tracks with more relaxed passages and includes songs such as «Rose Rouge», «Sure Thing» and «Pont des Arts».
The second CD includes remixes of «Rose Rouge» (Blaze and Spiller) and «Sure Thing» (Todd Edwards).
For fans of deep house, future jazz and 2000s downtempo.
