«Tronic» is the jazz fusion album by German duo Kolbe and Illenberger, released in 1997 by In Joy Music and Tonstudio Zuckerfabrik on CD.
The album moves away from the duo's earlier sound, embracing experimental contemporary jazz within the jazz fusion movement. Anne Haigis's vocal interventions, onomatopoeic and unconventional, lend a singular texture to the whole.
CD reissue with a single disc, of German origin, released by In Joy Music and Tonstudio Zuckerfabrik.
Aimed at listeners of jazz fusion and contemporary jazz seeking experimental offerings within 1990s German music.
