«Tropicalia 2» is the collaborative album by Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, on CD.
The album celebrates the reunion of Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil with the spirit of the tropicalist movement of the late 1960s. Their music fuses rock, pop and traditional Brazilian rhythms in a sonic mosaic where the lyrics, with irony and reflection, comment on social and cultural themes.
Released by Universal Music, it is a single-disc edition.
For fans of Brazilian music and genre fusions.
