«Trouble» is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne, released in 2006 by Warner Music International, on CD.
The album moves between folk rock and acoustic sound, with lyrics addressing love, loss and redemption and a raspy voice as a recognizable hallmark. Among its tracks are «Trouble», «How Come» and «Shelter», and «How Come» was also heard in the movie The Devil Wears Prada.
Originally released in the UK in 2004, this CD corresponds to the 2006 European edition; it was produced, recorded and mixed by Ethan Johns.
For listeners of singer-songwriters and folk rock who appreciate acoustic records with a lead voice and understated arrangements.
