«Twelve Spanish Dances» is the album by Enrique Granados with Norbert Kraft, the Razumovsky Sinfonia and Peter Breiner, released in 2006 by Naxos on CD.
The CD brings together Granados's Twelve Spanish Dances in Peter Breiner's arrangements for guitar and orchestra, along with Scenes Poétiques, Book 1, in the same instrumentation. Among the dances, "Orientale" and "Rondella aragonesa" stand out; from the second cycle, the "Berceuse". The solo guitar is performed by Norbert Kraft.
The CD contains fifteen tracks (the twelve dances and three poetic scenes) with a duration of 72 minutes; recorded at the Moyzes Hall in Bratislava in August 1994.
For listeners interested in Spanish classical music and in guitar-and-orchestra versions of Granados's repertoire.
