«Two of a Mind» is the jazz album by Paul Desmond and Gerry Mulligan, released in 2000 by RCA Victor International on CD.
It brings together Desmond (alto sax) and Mulligan (baritone sax) in a 1962 New York session: with bass and drums, both saxes build a contrapuntal dialogue on tracks like «All the Things You Are», «Stardust» and «The Way You Look Tonight», plus «Blight of the Fumble Bee».
Originally recorded in 1962 at RCA Victor's Studio A in New York, and produced by Bob Prince and George Avakian. This CD edition was released in 2000 as part of RCA Victor's Gold Series.
For jazz and cool jazz fans, and for those who value the meeting of two great sax soloists.
