«Unrest» is the solo debut album by Erlend Øye, released in 2003 on Source and Astralwerks, on CD.
The ten songs on Unrest combine electronic pop, downtempo and synth-pop, the result of Erlend Øye's journey between July 2001 and June 2002 to write and record with local producers in various cities across Europe and the United States. Tracks include 'Sudden Rush', 'Prego Amore' and 'Like Gold'.
The CD is a single disc with ten tracks and a running time of 44 minutes. The booklet reproduces a map of the recording cities and details the producer for each track.
For fans of Kings of Convenience and early-2000s downtempo electronic pop.
