«Unsung Sondheim» is the album with songs by Stephen Sondheim, released in 1993 by Varese Sarabande on CD.
The album brings together little-known songs composed by Stephen Sondheim, many of them cut from the musicals for which they were intended. They are performed by musical theatre vocalists with piano accompaniment, in versions that show the variety of tones and styles of the composer within the soundtrack and musical theatre.
Edition of a disc with Judy Kuhn, Rebecca Luker and Liz Callaway among the vocalists and David Loud on piano.
For fans of Stephen Sondheim who want to discover the lesser-known sides of his repertoire.
