«Vienna Master Series: Franz Lehar / Emmerich Kalman» is the album by Franz Lehár and Emmerich Kálmán, released in 1992 by Pilz on CD.
The CD brings together passages from two Viennese operettas: «Die lustige Witwe» (The Merry Widow) by Lehár and «Die Csárdásfürstin» (The Gypsy Princess) by Kálmán. They are performed by the Wiener Volksoper conducted by Franz Bauer-Theussl; the DDD recording highlights the melodic and theatrical character of these scores.
