«Villancicos Flamencos Vol. 1» is the compilation album by various flamenco artists released by Discmedi in 2002, on CD.
A compilation of sixteen Christmas carols performed by flamenco masters such as Manolo Caracol, Antonio Molina and Lola Flores. The repertoire blends flamenco singing with the Andalusian Christmas tradition, with a festive atmosphere and historic voices from different styles.
The disc recovers recordings from shellac records made between 1930 and 1950 and was released by Discmedi Blau (DM 637-02).
For fans of flamenco and Spanish Christmas music, with an interest in historic recordings and classic voices of the genre.
