«Vini Pou» is the zouk album by Kassav', released in 1987 by Epic on CD.
The record sums up the group's sound from the Antilles in the eighties: Caribbean rhythms wrapped in an elegant pop production and a festive, danceable air. Kassav' turns zouk into music suited both for the dance floor and for appreciating its technical finish, with tracks that invite movement and showcase the rhythmic richness of the Caribbean.
The album was released on December 18, 1987 by Epic on CD; the edition is in French and is classified in the Latin music category.
Suitable for those who want to discover the music that popularized Antillean zouk and for world music collectors.
