«Violin Concertos Nos. 1, 2 & 3» is Mozart's album with Pinchas Zukerman and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, released by CBS on CD.
The three violin concertos gathered here —No. 1 in B-flat major K. 207, No. 2 in D major K. 211, and No. 3 in G major K. 216— show the dialogue between the soloist and a chamber ensemble; the central adagios and final rondos stand out, with a reading by Pinchas Zukerman as solo violin and conductor.
Recorded in 1981 in Saint Paul (Minnesota), it is part of the CBS Masterworks Digital Masters series and has a total duration of 70:09.
For classical music lovers who want to hear Mozart's violin concertos in a chamber version.
