«Yalil» is the album by Amina, released in 1989 on Mango on CD.
Yalil crosses synth-pop and chanson with raï and adds folk and world music textures, shaping a varied repertoire in which Amina's voice is the common thread. The cover, with a portrait in warm tones and a band of geometric motifs, reinforces that blend of tradition and electronic pop.
US CD edition of a record, catalogue number 539 892-2, on the Mango and WEA Manufacturing Inc. labels.
For listeners of eighties electronic pop and fusions of chanson and raï.
