«24 imatges per segon» is Josep Lorman's young adult novel, published by Estrella Polar in paperback (208 pages, in Catalan).
Hug studies industrial engineering, but his passion is film: he reads Nuevo Fotogramas, goes to the film archive to watch Godard movies and dreams of becoming a director. Despite his father's opposition, he lands a job as a production assistant and discovers that real shooting is far from his fantasies: coffees, errands and low-budget films, with a blue-eyed girl in the mix.
It is part of the Col·lecció Jove and was published on September 21, 2010.
Aimed at young readers aged 12 and up, especially those drawn to cinema and coming-of-age stories.
