«A 7.500 kilómetros de distancia» is the illustrated children's story by Nuria Homs Serra and Gustavo Roldán Devetach, published by edebé in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Two very distant characters receive an unexpected gift on the same day: the maharaja Asikh, in New Delhi, an elephant, and Bartolomé Ventura, in Barcelona, a box with twenty-six silkworms. The story plays with the distance between the two places to show how a detail can fill the recipient with joy.
The title belongs to the Mis Cuentos Favoritos de Tren Azul collection, published by edebé in 2016. The book is recommended for ages 3 and up.
