«A Delicious Slice of Johnners» is the autobiographical collection by Brian Johnston, published by Virgin Books in paperback (400 pages, in English).
Brian Johnston's memoirs cover his life: the years at Eton and Oxford, the family coffee business, his service in the Grenadier Guards during World War II and his career at the BBC, which took him to the cricket commentary booth, where his humor and wit made him a radio legend.
Published in 2001 and edited by Brian Johnston's eldest son, Barry, the volume brings together three of his works: the autobiographies It's Been a Lot of Fun, It's a Funny Game and Rain Stops Play.
For cricket and British radio fans, as well as for those who enjoy memoirs of the great voices of the BBC.
