«A libro aperto. Una vita è i suoi libri» is the philosophical essay by Massimo Recalcati, published by Feltrinelli in paperback (185 pages, in Italian).
Recalcati reflects on reading as a loving encounter that cuts across the course of a life. From the books that marked his formation, from the «Odyssey» to Lacan's «Écrits», he proposes a new theory of reading and vindicates the value of the book in an age that seems to decree its death.
Published on November 8, 2018, it belongs to Feltrinelli's «Serie bianca» collection.
Aimed at readers interested in psychoanalysis, philosophy, and the relationship between reading and life.
