«A sombra dos bonsais» is the short story collection by Antón Riveiro Coello, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (212 pages, in Galician).
The book brings together short stories arranged like the branches of a tree: the first pieces are longer and the following ones gradually shorten without losing intensity. With concise prose, Antón Riveiro Coello builds fictions that condense worlds in few words and often end with a surprising twist or a smile.
It belongs to volume 362 of the Literaria collection from Editorial Galaxia. First edition published on October 3, 2017.
For readers of contemporary Galician short fiction; the work invites being read in one sitting.
