«Adiós Sherezade» is Donald Westlake's black humor novel, published by Ediciones Júcar in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
Edwin Topliss, a writer of serial pornographic novels, loses his inspiration and his daily pages become a reckoning with his life. Westlake turns creative block into a black comedy with barbs aimed at the craft of writing and the entertainment industry.
The original was published in 1970 as Adios, Scheherazade; this 1987 edition is part of the Etiqueta Negra collection from Ediciones Júcar.

Donald Edwin Westlake was an American writer with more than one hundred novels and non-fiction books to his credit. He specialized in crime fiction, especially comic capers, with an occasional foray into science fiction and other genres. Westlake created two professional criminal characters who each starred in a long-running series: the relentless, hardboiled Parker, and John Dortmunder, who featured in a more humorous series.
