«A-F (ABECECUENTOS each letter, a story)» is an illustrated storybook by Beatriz Doumerc and Gabriel Barnes, published by Bruño in hardcover (144 pages).
A book of short stories with charming protagonists, each built around a sound of the alphabet, from A to F. The pictograms, drawings that replace words, help anticipate the text and make learning to read participatory and very accessible.
First volume of the ABECEcuentos collection, published in 2011 and focused on stories from A to F.
Designed for children aged 3 to 6 who are beginning to discover the alphabet and for early readers.
Beatriz Doumerc de Barnes was an Argentine writer of children's literature. Her book, La línea, illustrated by her husband, Ayax "Pacho" Barnes, was awarded the Casa de las Américas Prize in 1975.
