«Agárrate a mi pecho en llamas» is a collection of short stories and a novella by Possidónio Cachapa, published by Xordica in paperback (136 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together several short stories and the novella «El nailon de mi aldea», linked by the often unexpected encounters between characters marked by loneliness. The countryside and the city cross paths in brief tales about love and misunderstanding, told in a language that blends emotion, humor and nostalgia.
It belongs to the Carrachinas collection. The text is in Spanish, translated from Portuguese by Antonio Sáez Delgado; the original work was published in 2003.
Readers of contemporary fiction and short stories with solitary characters and nostalgic atmospheres.
