A slang collector travels through villages on a motorbike with a secret project: updating Joan Coromines's etymological dictionary. He comes across a dead hiker, a polluted river, a missing scientist and a suspicious pharmacist; the involuntary investigation follows the water cycle, from the Pyrenees to the Llobregat delta.
The novel received the Premi de Literatura Científica 2006. It is part of the LABUTXACA collection.
For readers of mystery novels and thrillers, especially those interested in Catalonia, language and the environment.
