«Aire negro» is the horror novel by Agustín Fernández Paz, published by Xerais in paperback (192 pages, in Galician).
Three years later, psychiatrist Víctor Moldes remembers how he met Laura Novo, an autistic patient with amnesia who spent her days writing her name. The therapy he uses to try to restore her memory triggers consequences that force him to abandon psychiatry and live in unease. Horror and a double love story intertwine.
The work belongs to the Fóra de Xogo collection of children's and young adult literature from Xerais. It received the Protagonista Jove Prize 2001 and the IBBY Honour List 2002.
For readers of children's and young adult fiction looking for stories of suspense, mystery and psychological horror.
