«Això no és Amèrica» is the short story collection by Jordi Puntí, published by Editorial Empúries in paperback (224 pages, in Catalan).
Nine stories portraying adulthood, heartbreak, and characters on the run: a man walks through the Eixample to remember a love, another swaps a trip to Paris for a solo cruise, and a writer travels to Nancy to sell stories. Fifteen years after Animals tristos, Jordi Puntí returns to the short story.
«Això no és Amèrica» is Jordi Puntí's third short story collection, after Pell d'armadillo (1998) and Animals tristos (2002). The work belongs to the Empúries Narrativa collection.
Jordi Puntí i Garriga is a Catalan language writer, columnist, and translator.
