«Aladdin» is the illustrated children's story by Don Ferguson, published by Penguin Books USA Inc./Mouse Works in hardcover.
This illustrated story recreates the Disney animated movie: Aladdin and Princess Jasmine soar through the sky on a magic carpet with the Genie, accompanied by the monkey Abu, in a tale of fantasy and adventure.
1992 edition, with 96 pages in English and full-color illustrations, part of the Disney Classic Series collection.
This children's book, given its nature and its link to the Disney animated movie, is aimed at early readers and collectors.
Don Ferguson is a Canadian actor, writer, and producer and is one of the stars of the Royal Canadian Air Farce. He and Dave Broadfoot were the only Canadian-born original cast members of Air Farce. In 1998, Ferguson and the original Air Farce cast of Roger Abbott, Luba Goy, and John Morgan received the Governor General's Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement, Canada's highest honour in the performing arts.
