«Alas para vivir» is the novel by Richard Bach, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (262 pages, in Spanish).
An adult Richard Bach, hang-gliding, meets again with Dickie, the nine-year-old boy he once was, and with the promise he made him then: to teach him what he has learned about life. In showing him what he considers important, he discovers that nothing matches what he himself had foreseen.
The Spanish translation is by Edith Zilli; the original is «Running from safety». Includes photographs by Rusell Munson.
