«Alguien voló sobre el nido del cuco» is the novel by Ken Kesey, published by Librería Editorial Argos in hardcover (358 pages, in Spanish).
Randle McMurphy, a man who fakes a mental disorder to avoid prison, is admitted to a psychiatric hospital. His rebelliousness clashes with Nurse Ratched and disrupts the patients' routine. Ken Kesey drew inspiration from his time as a volunteer in experiments with psychedelic drugs at a hospital.
Alguien voló sobre el nido del cuco was originally published in 1962 as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; this 1976 edition includes the translation by Mireia Bofill.
For those seeking a cult novel of American literature about authority and freedom.
Kenneth Elton Kesey was an American novelist, essayist, and countercultural figure. He considered himself a link between the Beat Generation of the 1950s and the hippies of the 1960s.
