«Allô, la police ?» is a humor collection by Matthieu Kondryszyn, published by Le Cherche Midi in paperback (208 pages, in French).
A brigadier at the Paris police headquarters, Matthieu Kondryszyn brings together real calls received on 17, the emergency number for the police in France: mix-ups, pranks, neighborly disputes and absurd requests. The book shows that these calls, though amusing, can block a line reserved for real emergencies.
The work bears the subtitle «100 % vrai ! 100 % drôle !» and its publication date is May 4, 2016.
For readers interested in humor based on real anecdotes and the daily work of the police.
