«Almanaque musical» is an illustrated poetry album by Antonio Rubio and David Pintor, published by Kalandraka in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Twelve poems, one for each month of the year, follow a band of musicians —humans, an elephant, a cat and birds— that plays non-stop from January to December. Between violins and cellos, Antonio Rubio's verses evoke the passage of time with airs of waltz, toccata and symphony.
The album belongs to Kalandraka's «Fuera de Colección» collection and the Spanish edition was published on December 28, 2011.
For boys and girls aged 7 to 9 who are approaching poetry and classical music.
Antonio Rubio Pérez was a Uruguayan journalist and politician.
