Synopsis of Alquiler de verano
Molly Pargeter, una mujer de cuarenta años, lleva una vida estable pero aburrida en Londres. Un día, encuentra un anuncio de una villa en Toscana para alquilar y decide pasar allí las vacaciones de agosto con su familia. La villa está ubicada entre centros de arte y cerca de Urbino, donde se encuentra la pintura "La Flagelación" de Piero della Francesca. Durante la primera semana, el agua desaparece y la piscina se vacía. En la segunda semana, aparece un cadáver en la piscina, lo que lleva a Molly a sospechar de un juego sucio.
