«Altos estudios eclesiásticos» is the essay book by Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio, published by Debate in hardcover (800 pages, in Spanish).
After publishing 'El Jarama', Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio withdrew for fifteen years to the study of grammar, the stage that gives this book its title. This work brings together essays from that period, such as 'Las semanas del jardín', '«Guapo» y sus isótopos' and the 'Glosas castellanas', and includes his annotated translation of 'Victor de l'Aveyron', by Jean Itard.
