«Amatista» is the erotic novel by Alicia Steimberg, published by Tusquets Editores in paperback (152 pages, in Spanish).
An anonymous lady guides a doctor through eroticism in nine encounters in Buenos Aires, telling him stories of almost surreal fantasy starring Amatista, Pierre and others. Those tales take place in a monastery, a lake, the sky or a bar in Buenos Aires, and their fiction ends up seeping into reality, with humor and liberating eroticism.
Volume 63 of the La Sonrisa Vertical collection by Tusquets. It was a finalist for the 11th La Sonrisa Vertical Prize. Published in 1989 in Spanish.
Work for adult readers interested in erotic narrative and fantastic literature with a Buenos Aires setting.
