Dive into the world of Harvey Pekar, a hospital archivist who narrates his daily life in the comic 'American Splendor'. With scripts by Pekar himself and illustrations by Robert Crumb and Joe Sacco, this work offers an honest and close-up view of life, without heroes or villains, but full of bizarre characters and recognizable situations. A gem of underground comics that will make you reflect on the reality that surrounds us.
Robert Dennis Crumb is an American artist who often signs his work R. Crumb. His work displays a nostalgia for American folk culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and satire of contemporary American culture.
