«Amor en vilo» is Pere Gimferrer's poetry collection, published by Seix Barral in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
Pere Gimferrer signs his first original poetry book in Spanish since 1969: 142 texts dated between April 2004 and December 2005 that make up a singular love story. The work shows great metrical variety and a mosaic of allusions ranging from Góngora to Rubén Darío, with references to film and painting, outside of fashions.
It belongs to the Los Tres Mundos collection from Seix Barral and was published on March 16, 2006, simultaneously with the narrative Interludio azul.
For readers of contemporary poetry in Spanish and for those who follow Pere Gimferrer's career.
Pere Gimferrer Torrens is a Spanish poet, translator and novelist. He is twice winner of Spain's Premio Nacional de Poesía.
